Scott was a man who inspired confidence. You knew that if he said he was going to do something he would, with quality, a little self depreciating humour ("I did it in crayons"), but a seriousness of the subject. He never forgot the child or the 'in the setting' practitioner in his decision making, and this brought a reality and implementable framework to his work. Beyond the professional was a genuinely lovely man. Someone who it was easy to talk to, because he listened and was interested. He is missed
